The purpose of this research study is to investigate social issues affecting African American communities in Texas that prohibit its evolution, participation, and responsibility for self-documenting and collecting their local endemic narratives for inclusion in archives, libraries, and museums based on user information seeking and information behaviors in physical and virtual archival environments.
